Abril + Henry [Day After] sorta kinda :)

To clarify…Henry & Abril’s shoot was actually on the day of their wedding.  So why call it a day after shoot?  Here’s the story.  I got a call from Henry just a couple of weeks before he and Abril were supposed to get married.  They’d already planned everything to do with the wedding including a photographer to capture most of the day.  After seeing my ad in the winter/spring 09 issue Tulle Abril decided that she’d like to get some shots by me as well.  After explaining my day after sessions and meeting with me, they decided to book it…but on the day of  :)  Since your wedding day is pretty hectic…here’s some of my favorites from what we came up with in 1 hour at their reception site Twin Oaks.  Thanks so much Abril & Henry!

jodi + jordan [engaged]

Meet Jodi & Jordan!  I always ask my couples if they have a special place that they’d like to have their engagement session and 90% of the time they say “um, you pick please :) .”  These two actually did decide to have their session at Jodi’s parents farm in Hilham because of their memories there.  It was a beautiful place…they were so easy to talk to and even easier to photograph…I look forward to your wedding next month guys!

sam + kristina [engaged]

I’m kicking off my engagement posts with this lovely couple because they’re so cool and they’re featured in my slideshow at the top of the blog.  I’m shooting their wedding this April.  It’s gonna be awesome!

Meg - What can I say… you are Arnold Swartsanager and I am Danny DeVito ;) I love you, you are so talented and I am so proud. Thanks for the shots of the horses… I can’t stop looking at them.
